Behind the name
askipar is short for à ce qu'il paraît— “as it would appear.” Photography is exactly that: choosing how things appear, and making sure they appear at their best.
Photographer and visual artist based in Auckland, originally from France. Twelve years in this country and it still surprises me.
The work spans portraits, events, food and beverage, and corporate photography, alongside drawing, 3D art, and generative work. The common thread is people: images that tell stories and tug at the heartstrings.
